Indications:
- Conductive or mixed hearing loss
- Unilateral, bilateral
- Stable air conduction thresholds: <50 dB at 500 Hz up to approx. 60 dB at 4 kHz - see chart
- No acute middle ear infection
- Anatomy allowing the placement of the FMT on a suitable vibratory middle ear structure
- Better speech understanding possible with amplification
- No retrocochlear or central hearing disorders
- Realistic expectations
- Minimum age: 5 years
